Beginning in 2024, U.S. citizens will need to apply for ETIAS prior to travel.
ETIAS is an online travel authorization that will screen travelers before they enter. The ETIAS application form will be online and quick to complete.
Over 95% of ETIAS applications will be approved almost immediately. The ETIAS travel authorization will be valid for 3 consecutive years and multiple short stays in Europe.

Prepared six months before
Your passport is essential for international travel to Paris.
Current Passport Holders Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date.
New Applications Start the process early, as processing times can vary.
